CIMP will establish world-leading expertise in Structural Dynamics thereby enhancing Curtin’s capacity and reputation as a leader in research and teaching in Australia and worldwide. It will yield accelerated growth of research income, research outcomes, high-quality strategic collaborations and HDR student numbers.

The research programs will involve centre staff, higher degree by research (HDR) students, visiting scholars and industry partners through various projects. The research centre will build the research profile and reputation of Curtin University in the field of Structural Engineering, boost research outputs, increase national and international collaborations, and provide better services to local, national and international industries.
