PhD student scholarships – Civil and Structural Engineering
Three years, annual stipend (AUD33,000 for tuition fees + AUD27,000 for living allowance)
Currently a number of PhD research student scholarships are available now in Curtin Centre for Infrastructural Monitoring and Protection. The scholarship will cover a three year stipend (annually AUD33,000 for tuition fees + AUD27,000 for living allowance). Successful candidates can start anytime until the positions are filled. They will work with Prof. Hong Hao and his group in the areas of structural dynamics, earthquake engineering, structural health monitoring, concrete materials, blast and impact engineering.
Minimum qualifications
Bachelor degree (first-class honours or upper-second class honours) in Civil Engineering or related fields, other general admission requirements requested by Curtin University which is provided on the Curtin Research website and English language requirement (IELTS, Overall 6.5, Speaking, Writing, Reading and Listening 6.0; or TOEFL, 79 internet based). Applicants with Master degrees having technical publications and research experiences in structural dynamics and analysis are preferred.
